being grateful

Howdy y'all! This week I am on vacation with my family and some old friends of ours, and I wanted to talk about being grateful.

I don't think that people say thank you enough. There is always someone to thank in anything you do, and it's important to find that person and let them know that you appreciate them. Whether it be a teacher you love, or a nice employee at the grocery store, you should be thanking those around you. Send nice emails, write letters, tell them in person.

Call your grandparents for crying in a bucket! If you've still got 'em you need to be thanking the Lord for them every second of the day. Talk to the lunch ladies - they work harder than you know. Do the dishes before your mom gets home. Offer to help your dad with yard work. All of these things are ways to say thank you - because you should be saying thank you.

Most importantly, say your thanks to the Lord. Look at all he has blessed you with! He sent his son to die on the cross for you!

Find someone to thank today. Not something obvious (that's important too), but really look for someone that may not be getting the recognition they deserve.

Have a great day!
