Howdy y'all! This week I'm feelin' real festive (I'm actually listening to Christmas music as I write this), so I decided to post my first gift guide of the season. Everyone's got an animal lover in their life (for me, it's my daddy's mom and my little sister), and even if they aren't the dog whisperer, who doesn't love a cute lil' puppy?
The first gift was actually featured on Oprah's Favorite Things for two years in a row. If Oprah loves it, you know it's legit, amirite? These adorable ornaments from Moon and Lola are cut in the shape of the breed of your dog/cat and can be inscribed with that pet's name. This is such a special gift because it will last forever, and will bring back memories of your best bud, even if they aren't with you anymore.
Get them a cute throw pillow like this "Raining Cats and Dogs" one or this pug one (because we all love pugs) both from Society 6.
The love doesn't just have to be limited to domesticated animals! If you've got more of a safari gal on your hands, try this elephant succulent planter.
Tea/Hot Chocolate/Coffee drinkers would love to cuddle up with a book and this fox mug from ModCloth.
Also from ModCloth, this super cute dress has got PUPPIES ON IT. How sweet is that?! Plus it's on sale for 60% off right now. ;)
If you're looking for something really meaningful, get them this Lab charm from James Avery, or whatever breed they may have. Just make sure they have a chain or charm bracelet to put it on!
If you have any ideas about what to get for the animal lover in your life, make sure to let me know my commenting, or tweeting at me!
Have a great day!

currently coveting
Howdy y'all! This Friday I've got an updated Currently Coveting for you! Want to see what was on my wish-list last month? Check it out here.
This Kendra Scott necklace is so gorgeous, the tears flow when I look at it.
Bean boots are all I see as I scroll through my socials, and it's a beautiful thing.
These Nutella stuffed sugar cookies from Whole Yum look AMAZING.
These socks from ModCloth have pugs on them. The pugs are wearing red noses and antlers.
I've been on the lookout for t-shirt dresses as of late to be a fall basic and this one is SO cute.
This mug from Target is my everything.
You wouldn't think Walmart would be on this list, but here we are. This men's flannel is SO cute and only $8.00!!! What a steal!
What's are you on the look out for lately? Let me know in the comments below, or on Twitter or Instagram!

currently coveting
Howdy y'all! There have been quite a few items on my want list lately, and I thought I would share a few of them with you. Here are the links. :)
These nighties from Oliver & Otis are the cutest things I have ever seen.
I recently found this company called Bliss Tulle and they are solely dedicated to selling tulle skirts. Going to this website is like dying and going to a fluffy, pink heaven filled with happiness.
This notebook set from ModCloth hAS LLAMAS ON IT!!! WHAT MORE COULD YOU POSSIBLY EVER WANT.

I found these tin camp mugs on Pinterest and I cannot keep my eyes off of them. Plus, they look very fall-ish and that's always a good thing.
Speaking of fall, these huge, comfy looking, plaid scarfs have been filling my Instagram feed, and I'm not sad about it. I love this one (also from ModCloth).
I've really been wanting to write letters more, and addressing the envelopes is one of my favorite parts. This is a stencil that spaces out the lines so it will look all nice and neat, and they look like so much fun.
Bathtub crayons. It sounds weird, but being able to draw while I'm in the shower would make everything 10X more fun.

breckenridge travel guide & photos
Howdy y'all! Last week I was vacationing in Breckenridge, Colorado and took some super rad pictures I wanted to share with you! I also, wanted to tell you about a few of the neat places I visited in the area.
First off, Breckenridge has a beautiful Main Street with adorable little shops on it. Some of my favorites were Ruby Jane and a souvenir place that carries Life is Good products. We also make a trip to the awesome sock store, the Joy of Sox, every year. On our way to the airport, we made a pit stop at the Brass Armadillo, where I got a Rick Springfield on vinyl for $5 (!!!!). This antique store was seriously so cool and I can't wait to go back sometime.
In terms of food, I really enjoyed the Columbine Cafe for breakfast. Their corn beef hash was DELICIOUS as was everything else on the menu. Mary's Mountain Cookies made some super yummy treats that I really loved (you could tell by my food baby).
My dad and I went to a really neat mining museum in Leadville. If you are interested in engineering or minerals, or just mining in general, it's a really cool stop. The ladies of the group also took a trip to the spa, which was absolutely amazing. I got a facial and some of the older women got massages. They had great service (also a steam room and heated pool) and it was a very relaxing way to end our trip.
Last but not least, here are some of the photos I took. If you like these, make sure to follow my VSCO for more like them. :)
