My most recent favorite has been Reign. I actually heard about this show from another blogger (shout out to the girls from The Swirl), and decided to give it a go and it ended up being SO GOOD. It's set in 16th century France and follows the story of Mary Queen of Scots. I personally love everything about it, although some argue that it's not completely historically accurate. The only thing I'm not so crazy about is the more inappropriate scenes. They're pretty grody, but I just skip through them.
Also Grey's Anatomy. That show is my JAM. I love it (as does pretty much every other girl that has ever bc Patrick Dempsey). Not only is it a really good story line, I also feel like I've learned a lot of medical stuff that I didn't understand before (which sounds really dumb, but I'm actually being totally serious).
Some of my other favorites include Once Upon A Time, Gilmore Girls (which was one of my all time favorites), and Call the Midwife (also a little medically graphic, but an amazing show).
In terms of movies, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure never fails to make me laugh. Actually, as embarrassingly bad as it is, it ranks in my top 3 favorite movies. I just watched Leap Year with Amy Adams and it was absolutely adorable and hilarious. Finally, being the history nerd I am, National Treasure never gets old!
